The Walnut Sauce is a typical Ligurian condiment, which encloses the best flavours and the oldest traditions.
In the past this typical sauce from Genoa was prepared especially during the Lent period because it was considered "lean", that is to say: with no meat.
A simple yet elegant and creamy sauce that combines the simplicity with good taste made with all high-quality ingredients.
It has a grainy texture, an ivory colour and the tasty flavour typical of walnuts harmoniously blended with Parmigiano Reggiano P.D.O.
Delicate and fragrant, is indicated for stuffed pasta, in a particular for the typical fresh homemade Ligurian pasta, meatless ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach.
The walnut sauce can also be used as an appetizer, spread on bruschetta, canapés and goes perfectly with salads and white meat, raw vegetables and jacket potatoes. Even with baked fish creates a new unique taste, very appreciated and easy to make.
INGREDIENTS:
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Walnuts 30%, Cashew nuts, Parmigiano Reggiano PDO, potatoes flakes, salt, garlic.
It may contain traces of soy, other nuts.
GLUTEN-FREE PRODUCT.
SHELF LIFE:
18 months. Keep in a cool and dry place at room temperature (21 °C - 24 °C).
