Flavored Wine and Sour Cherry Beverage
The Cardinale's Sour Cherry Beverage, a typical Marche region drink, is obtained in accordance with the peasant tradition, from fine wine grapes, sour cherries and sugar, according to an ancient recipe from the mid-1800s.
The long production cycle and special processing make it a unique and precious meditative drink, to be enjoyed in company.
The Visciolata (sour cherry beverage) is consumed in small glasses, at a temperature of 13-16 °C, at the end of the meal, pairing with tarts, chocolate and vanilla-based desserts, panna cotta, and in particular, all dry pastries.
Its colour is cardinal red, the aroma is fruity, the taste is sweet and enveloping with a dry aftertaste and a clear hint of sour cherry.
The olfactory persistence is pleasant and prolonged.
With the Visciolata, it is possible to create very original aperitifs and cocktails!
