Guerrini PDO Sant’Andrea Rice is one of the most authentic and distinctive varieties of the Baraggia region of Biella and Vercelli, a unique land at the foothills of Monte Rosa and the only rice-growing area in Italy awarded the prestigious Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).

Deeply connected to the history of this territory, Sant’Andrea Rice played an important role in the creation of the Baraggia PDO designation itself. Less internationally known than Carnaroli and Arborio, it is appreciated by rice enthusiasts for its authentic character, remarkable versatility and excellent balance between quality and value.

Its medium-sized grain, naturally rich in starch, absorbs flavours and aromas beautifully, creating a creamy and harmonious texture.
