LU Cardinale – Spiced Sour Cherry Bitter from Cantine del Cardinale is a blend born from the creative vision of Luca Cardinali, who transforms intuition, experience, and herbal alchemy into an iconic, original, and deeply distinctive product.

Each taste tells a story of passion, curiosity, and a constant pursuit of quality—values that embody the true essence of Cantine del Cardinale.

Made from fermented grape must, sour cherries, spices, and aromatic herbs, this spiced bitter stands out for its complex yet harmonious profile, where the fruity component intertwines with the warm, aromatic notes of carefully selected botanicals. The result is an elegant balance between tradition and experimentation, designed for those seeking a rich and unconventional tasting experience.

Visually, it presents a deep amber colour with subtle red reflections that hint at its aromatic depth. On the nose, it reveals a rich and enveloping bouquet, where notes of sour cherry, sweet spices, and aromatic accents define its complexity. On the palate, it is balanced and persistent, with a smooth entry that opens into a long finish characterised by an elegant spicy and fruity aftertaste.

LU Cardinale is ideal as a sipping bitter, served chilled in a small glass, where it fully expresses its refined yet convivial identity. It also performs exceptionally well as a versatile base for contemporary mixology, featuring in classics such as the Americano and Negroni, as well as innovative interpretations of the Spritz.

Perfect for aperitif or after-dinner moments, it is a product designed for sharing and conviviality, combining character, creativity, and tradition in a single sensory experience.
