In 2012 was created the first network of Sardinian cereal company "Filiera del Grano Duro Coltivato e Trasformato in Sardegna" and Sardo Sole os one of its brands.

The company offers products for a balanced diet through the choice of raw materials. They have created a great sustainability project that has the main ingredient "Wheat" in fact they have chosen to use only 100% wheat grown and processed in Sardinia for their products.

The production areas ideal for cultivation are: the Marmilla and the area of Cabras and Sinis. 

The producers selected the best varieties of the production of indigenous ancient cereals: Trigu giganti o Khorasan, Trigu Biancu, Trigu Arrubiu, Trigu Moro, Trigu Cossu, Trigu Murru, Senatore Cappelli. Every day the grain supply chain is followed, measuring each step that will lead to the production of the typical products that will become in the final stage the Sardo Sole branded products.

Carasau bread is a long-life artisanal product made with the selection of ancient Trigu and Oro wheat. Is a typical product of the Sardinia region and is always the protagonist of meals and aperitifs.

The double firing in the oven is what generates that fragrance and that particular lightness that make the product unmistakable.

Ideal for use in aperitifs to be combined with many different sauces, cheeses and cold cuts and salami.

On the table, Carasau excellently replaces traditional bread.

INGRIDIENTS:

Durum wheat semolina, water, yeast and salt.

STORAGE:

The Carasau bread is kept for 240 days from the production.
