It is perfect as an appetizer spread on slices of toasted bread, alone or combined with a seasoned cheeses.

Ideal if poured naturally on the pasta al dente, it can be enriched with Parmigiano Reggiamo cheese or bacon.

Also, excellent as a base for a risotto or to fill a savory pies.
